Start with the napkin laying flat. Fold in the top and bottom edges to conceal the border. Fold the bottom up to near the top. Fold the bottom up again, this time to near the first fold. Tuck in first one side and then the other beneath the napkin. Insert the silverware followed by the place name.How to fold the Double Pocket
Ease of Folding: The Double Pocket is only moderately complicated to fold and takes very little time. The animation shows each end being tucked under. In practice it is usually easier to turn the napkin over and fold the ends in.
Fabric: Almost any fabric may be used sucessfully.
Precision: Accurate folding makes the tops of the pockets evenly spaced and parallel with the ends almost completely concealed.
Notes: The animation shows the borders folded in to conceal them. With some fabrics, however, the result is more pleasing with the borders showing.
