Place Setting Folding
Start with the napkin laying flat and fold all four corners to the center. Then tuck each corner under to the center (turn the napkin over if necessary). Fold each corner out to the edge to form a raised border around the low center. Place the plate on the finished design.How to fold the Place Setting
Ease of Folding: The Place Setting is moderately difficult just because of the need to turn it over.
Fabric: Any fabric can be used but a moderately stiff fabric makes it slightly easier to retain the folds while turning it over. A conspicuous border creates a frame which enhances the final appearance
Precision: Fairly accurate folding makes the final result neater and more attractive.
Notes: The animation shows the four corners folded out as decoration. With some fabrics, however, the result is more pleasing with the corners tucked in under in steps 7 to 10 to hide them.
